RETURN TO SCHOOL
We are so excited…..we hope you are too!
We are really looking forward to seeing all of our students back at school on Monday for our final week of term. You have been sent a letter from the Director of our Diocese around what this means for us. We are disappointed that parents and carers are unable to come into school yet, but this is certainly a small concern in comparison to welcoming students back to some very eager teachers and peers! Please read this carefully to ensure you are ready for the return we have been longing for.
Please continue to think of and pray for those areas of NSW who continue to be in lockdown. Having spoken with colleagues in Sydney over the past week, they have been in this situation for all of Term 3 with the end in sight still some time away.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY TERM 4
After considering the amount of time students have been away from school and the demands on families, we have made the decision to postpone our Staff Development Day from the first day of Term 4 to part way through the term. We are now planning for this day to be on Friday 5th November (Term 4, Week 5).
Please mark this date in your calendar for forward planning. Child minding will be offered on this day. Any parents requiring care for their child/children on that day are asked to please contact the Office Aunties or email us at sjpport@lism.catholic.edu.au to book. We will need to have bookings finalised by 3:00pm Friday 29th October to facilitate staffing for the day.

Fruit for Crunch’n’Sip
Fruit can be ordered in a lunch order for Fruit Break (Crunch’n’Sip) but please remember to let your child know that it is part of their lunch order and that they will need to collect it from the Canteen. Fruit can be ordered with over the counter lunch orders or Flexischool online orders (preferred method).
CANTEEN REMINDERS
- Flexischools cut off time for daily orders is 8:30am. You can place your orders the day before, or at the beginning of the week, to make sure they are in on time. The cut off time is set to ensure that there is enough time to process, prepare and pack all of the lunch orders each day.
- Please remind your children if they have a hand written lunch order to drop it off first thing in the morning or if they need to pick up their fruit break items from the canteen.
- We do not offer an IOU service. If you don't use Flexischools and do not have cash for lunch orders you can pay in the office using EFTPOS. If there are any issues with providing lunch please call the office to discuss.
