Year 5 Drumming Workshop
Year 5 were very excited to have their first of 12 Drumming Rhythm lessons with Mark Spence last week.
In conjunction with Music staff at St Joseph’s Regional College, all our Year 5 students are participating in this course as part of the Lismore Creative Arts Partnerships Grant.
Percussionist and Director of the Australian National Drumline Champions for the past 3 years, Mr Mark Spence is a highly experienced professional musician and music educator. Mark is providing all of Year 5 with foundational drumming skills and a glimpse of the music possibilities that can be achieved in a very short time.
We can't wait to hear and see their progress over the coming weeks!
