GREEN AND GOLD DAY

Today we celebrated ‘Green and Gold Day’ in honour of our Australian athletes competing in Tokyo. They have all worked so hard and struggled under COVID conditions to remain in top competitive condition, ready to represent their country. We have seen some amazing results in the first week. Such sportsmanship, dedication and support.
‘Green & Gold Day' was created for everyone. As you can see by the photos, we were all very excited to be wearing our green and gold.
We are all aware how important good role models are for our children to help them aspire to reach their dreams and build resilience. Imagine if some of our children could one day represent Australia at the Olympic games.
NATIONAL SCHOOLS TREE PLANTING DAY
National Tree Day is a call to action for all Australians to put their hands in the earth and give back to their community. Each year, about 300,000 people volunteer their time to engage in environmental activities that educate individuals about the world around them. It's a day to venture outdoors and get to know your community, and most importantly, to have fun!
Today we took the opportunity to participate in Schools Tree planting day by planting a tree as the beginning of our new Indigenous Garden. Sunday is National Tree Day. It is all about regeneration – whether it’s ecosystems recovering from the vicious bushfires, or our mental and emotional recovery in the wake of COVID-19. How will your family contribute to this day?
