Swimming Carnival
Yesterday students in Years 3 to 6 and competitive swimmers in Year 2 participated in our Swimming Carnival at the Wauchope Memorial Pool. Whether they were swimming in competitive races, just for fun or cheering on others from the grandstand, the spirit of the day and the teamwork in our Sport Houses was wonderful. Congratulations to all students and staff on a fun-filled day.

Year 5 and 6 Hastings Zone Summer Sport Trials - Touch Football
The Hastings Zone Sports Committee has invited St Joseph’s to send representatives to the Hastings Zone Summer Sports Touch Football Selection Trials. These trials will be held in the form of a Round Robin Gala Day. The day will be held on Wednesday 16th February (Week 3 Term 1). Refer to the note for further details.
Diocesan Basketball Trials
Congratulations to Peyton Berry, Xavier Mat, Maddyx Gray, Liam Jones, and Hudson Alexander who travelled to Lismore on Tuesday to represent St Joseph’s in order to earn a spot on the Diocean basketball team. We also congratulate Harrison Hoade, McKenzie Newton, and Laila Thorburn who were selected to attend the trials but were unable to attend.
Gymnastics
The Term 1 Dance Fever Multisport Gymnastic program for Kinder to Year 6 will run on Thursdays from Week 3 to Week 10. It is an exciting and essential area of our Sport program that will develop fundamental gross motor skills using equipment, their body weight and a partner. Please see below timetable.
