Year 2 Science and Technology

This year, Year 2 has been investigating the living world. Last week they engaged in a Virtual Reality (VR) experience which allowed them to be transported into a range of different environments. During this time they recorded what they could see, hear and feel, as if they were standing on the beach or sitting by the waterfalls. Through the use of VR, students showed a deeper understanding and greater appreciation for the wonder of God’s creation.

Year 3 have been learning about bees in our Science unit for Term 1. We were so grateful to have Mr Meehan join us to talk about bees, hives and the importance of bees to our environment. Year 3 were even able to taste delicious honey from Mr Meehan’s hives.
