This year 17 hosts farms and permaculture gardens open their gates to share their passions including permaculture, pasture raised pigs, avos, cattle breeding, urban farming, eggs, veggies and more… Most of them are “family friendly” so kids (and kids at heart) will have the opportunity to see, touch or feed farm animals.  On the Hastings Farm Gate Tour there are: chickens, goats, cows, pigs, horses and of course, puppies!  Tickets are per carload so pack your kids and a picnic and enjoy 3 days of fun while learning about locally grown fresh food, regenerative farming techniques and how to grow your own produce.
