Port Macquarie Speech & Drama Eisteddfod
Last week several students from St Joseph’s Primary competed in the annual Port Macquarie Speech & Drama Eisteddfod. They were proud representatives of our school and performed with skill and creativity. Excellent results were achieved!





- Lily Hillier won the Kindergarten, Year 1 and 2 Championship with 1st places in Dramatic Characterisation and Championship Verse and 2nd in Humorous Verse.
- A major award for the best Duo or Trio was won by Aislinn Suveesh and Anabel Shijo.
- Emerence Young was awarded a special Encouragement award for a student with Potential.
- 1st places were awarded to Maggie Searle (two 1st places), Sarah Koning, Hannah Cooper and Islah Kingsmith.
- 2nd places were awarded to Wyatt Hough, Braxton Beresford, Lily Hillier, Layla Porter, Anabel Shijo, Aislinn Suveesh, Ashton Giurissevich and Kainoa Pacey.
- 3rd Places were awarded to Emerence Young, Jack Slater, Daniel Shijo, Savian Karickal, Johns Mejo, Isabel Shijo, Anika Suveesh, Lily Skinner and Alivia Johnson.
- Very Highly Commended and Highly Commended Awards were won by Emerence, Braxton, Oliver, Jacob, Luca, Ebony, Emelie, Lily, Layla, Charlize, Elise, Ayla, Juliet and Scarlett.
