This year, our Year 6 students celebrated Shrove Tuesday in a special way by making and serving delicious pancakes at our Community Coffee Morning. The event was a big hit, with lots of parents, staff, and students gathering to enjoy the tasty treats made by the Year 6 class. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school to come together and share a fun, friendly time before the start of Lent.

The following day, we marked Ash Wednesday with a meaningful ceremony at school based on love and humilty. Staff, students, and parents came together to reflect on the season of Lent. The ceremony was a time of prayer, and reflection as we began our journey through this important period of the church calendar. The students received ashes on their foreheads, and were reminded to let love shine through them as we journey together in Lent.

Both events were a beautiful way for our school community to come together in celebration and reflection. We look forward to more moments of unity and growth in the coming weeks leading towards Easter.
