Bertie's Bark

Bertie “with a paw” said; “I'm impressed and proud of the cooperation shown by students when they were acting safely during the recent wet weather. I observed students being very sensible and calm, around me throughout the wet weather at school. I missed everyone when we were not at school because of Cyclone Alfred and was very glad to see everyone back, even if we did get a little wet. Thank you for looking out for each other. You might see me wearing my ‘Raincoat’ on other rainy days at Joey’s.

Sometimes people who are injured enjoy my company at lunch in the classroom, or out on the field. I try to find Ms Weaver every time I go too far into the school with other people - it's always good to know that I can see where she is.

When Kindy kids see me in the Library, they feel very calm and they don’t go crazy when I am around. One afternoon I was able to spend some time after school with the students while their parents were attending an information session. I enjoyed all of the extra one handed pats I got from them.

In this photo I'm rolling around and going crazy all over the floor with my friends in the ‘Paradise Room’. This is a fun way for all of us to have a brain break.
