Kindergarten Church Visit

Kindergarten went on a fun treasure hunt adventure at St Agnes' Church to learn about Catholic teachings. With the help of their teachers and parent volunteers, they explored the church and discovered hidden treasures while learning about their faith. They connected what they’ve been learning in class with real-life experiences. This exciting adventure sparked their curiosity and made them love learning, faith, and exploring new things. The students also learned more about the church and why it's so special to the Catholic community.

Year 1 Colour Exploration

In Year 1 this term we have been exploring the colour wheel. We have been looking at the primary colours, and how we can blend them together to make secondary colours. We further explored the colours by looking at warm and cool colours and how we can use these to create artworks. We created a sunburnt city with our warm colours, and a beachscape using our cool colours. Next we will use all the colours together to see the different effect. We have loved creating our beautiful artworks.
