What is the “Big Vegie Crunch?”

Did you know that only 5.4% of Australian children eat enough vegetables?

To encourage students to eat more vegetables, our school will be taking part in The Big Vegie Crunch on Thursday 5th March at 10.00am.

Schools across NSW will join together to break the record for the most students crunching vegetables simultaneously.

To assist with the Big Vegie Crunch our local supplier Ken Little Fruit & Veg will be providing boxes of mixed vegetables. These will be distributed to all classes and will give the students an opportunity not only to participate in the Big Vegie Crunch, but to also experience different types of vegetables that they have not had before.
