Sport Spotlight

ATHLETICS SELECTIONS

Athletics Selections were held yesterday instead of our usual communtiy 'carnival'. Keep an eye out for athletics photos on our school facebook page in the coming days. 

Congratulations to our amazing House Captains who held their first House Meeting this week and supported the students and staff to make it a successful and fun day.

The 800m and 1500m will be held in Term 3, due to a waterlogged Dixie Park.  After those events we will announce our age champions.

Please note: Zone and Diocesan Athletics or above will not be held this year.

KINDER AND YEAR 1 - MINI ATHLETICS FUN AFTERNOON

Kinder and Year 1 will enjoy a “Mini Athletics Fun Afternoon” on Thursday 2nd July starting at 11:40am which will be run by our House Captains. Students are encouraged to wear a House coloured shirt (or their school sports shirt) with their sports uniform on the day and enjoy the spirit of athletics. Your child’s teacher will be able to remind them of their House colour if you are unsure. Children will also need their hat, drink bottle and sunscreen. 
 
Due to the guidelines around social distancing and current restrictions in place  we are unable to have visitors join us during the afternoon fun. We look forward to sharing photos with you.
