Whether you are a friend, a potential new friend or just browsing, I hope that you get the information you are seeking. The school is an innovative and dynamic place with a committed staff that fosters critical thinking, curiosity and joy, in faith and learning.
Established in 1980, St Joseph’s is a strong and vibrant Catholic primary school. We provide an educational foundation for living life to the full, meaning the full development of the person’s faith, intellectual, physical, moral and emotional life. Every child needs a champion and our goal is that each child reaches their potential and shares in the grace of God through the love and example of Jesus.
Websites are a great introduction but are rarely able to capture the true spirit of a community. It is my hope that you might visit us and tour the School, or view our parent handbook so that you can see for yourself why it is that St Joseph’s Primary School has become well known as a place of quality Catholic education.
I hope you enjoy browsing the pages of our website and that you gain an understanding of the happy and energising place that is St Joseph’s Primary School, Port Macquarie.

Mr Troy Baker
Principal
We acknowledge that our school resides on the Lands of the Birpai Nation.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians who have walked and cared for this land for thousands of years and their descendants who maintain these spiritual connections and traditions.
We pay our respect to Elders past, present and future leaders.
We reflect on the millions of footprints that travelled the Dreaming pathways and continue to walk this land today. The Land we are on now, the land we live, work, breathe, eat and sleep: always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
We walk alongside the custodians of this beautiful country, Australia, as we seek Voice, Treaty and Truth.
