Thank you to Year 1 who led the school in a celebration of all mothers and mother figures in our lives on Friday. We acknowledge the contributions and vital role they play for our school and more specifically, the children.
As teachers, we value the partnership with all mothers and carers of our students and on behalf of St Joseph’s, we wish you all a very happy Mother’s Day.

Catholic Schools Week - Faith in the Future
26 Apr 2021
This week is another great week, as we celebrate what it means to be part of Catholic Education, marked by 200 years in 2021. This is of great significance to our Parish and school, so we hope that you will enjoy this with us and celebrate “Faith in the Future”.
Staff and students are getting excited about dressing on Friday as people from the past, with some great activities from 'yesteryear' planned for all grades.
ANZAC day - Lest we forget
26 Apr 2021
We take this opportunity to thank and congratulate all the students, parents, carers and staff who significantly contributed to our ANZAC Commemoration service on Friday here at St Joseph's. Today we acknowledge the ANZAC's and all those who have fought for their country as a very special part of our Australian culture.
Lest We Forget.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

Cross Country Carnival tomorrow
19 Apr 2021
Welcome back for Term 2.
We are super excited to begin the term with our Cross Country Carnival tomorrow (Tuesday 20th April). Students are invited to wear their sports uniform and may compete in a House-coloured t-shirt if desired. There is to be no hair colouring or writing on children’s bodies. All children require hats, sunscreen and water bottles.
Hastings - Green, Macquarie - Yellow, Mitchell - Blue and Oxley – Red
Parents and carers are invited to attend our carnival, in accordance with updated COVID-19 Guidelines. This requires all in attendance to adhere to social distancing guidelines, sanitise hands on entry and remain in designated areas around the track within and outside of school grounds, keeping away from the running track and class gathering areas.
All visitors entering the school must sign in and out digitally, so will need to factor extra time into arrival.
